Senior Corporate Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a senior level Corporate Accounting professional to join our Accounting team. In this role, you will support the financial close process and reporting, as well as ad hoc projects as they arise.

In Short

• Act as the primary preparer in month-end and quarter-end close calendar.
• Ensure proper accounting procedures and compliance with regulations.
• Take ownership over accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Support the preparation of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
• Assist with financial close tool to automate accounting processes.
• Prepare technical accounting areas including ASC 842 and ASC 718.
• Collaborate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules.
• Work cross-functionally to solve complex problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in startup environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred.
• Proficient in NetSuite or similar accounting software.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Self-starter able to work independently.
