Commercial Credit Underwriter I, II - Remote

Overview

The Commercial Credit Underwriter I & II is responsible for analyzing customer financial information and ensuring compliance with lending guidelines.

• Analyze customer financial data and spread financial information.
• Assign risk ratings and prepare exception reports.
• Collaborate with loan officers on portfolio management.
• Maintain knowledge of underwriting guidelines and regulations.
• Review financial spreads and perform basic underwriting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Two or more years of related experience for Level II.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of financial ratios and balance sheets.
• Prior experience in commercial/retail credit is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of banking regulations is preferred.
• Experience with complex commercial credits is a plus.
