In Short

• Develop and maintain mobile-first features for the My HealtheVet platform.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and API developers.
• Build secure applications in compliance with HIPAA or federal guidelines.
• Utilize modern React Native environment and VA.gov’s design system.
• Work with mobile state management and performance optimization.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically.
• Must be able to attain low-level security clearance.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Bonus: Experience with Veteran-facing applications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with React Native, iOS/Swift, or Android/Kotlin.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Firebase tools.
• Understanding of accessibility standards.
• Knowledge of Git workflows.
