We are hiring a Full Stack Engineer to work on a pivotal Federal program that is making a positive impact on millions of Americans' daily lives.

In Short

• Contribute to the Test User Portal and improve developer experience.
• Engage with other VA engineers to understand their needs.
• Facilitate communication across VA teams on technical matters.
• Enhance the Test User Portal under the Tech Lead's guidance.
• Implement developer experience improvements.
• Navigate and establish governance.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide training on testing governance programs.
• Strong understanding of API design and backend systems.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically.
• Must be able to attain low-level security clearance.
• 3+ years experience with Rails backend.
• 3+ years experience with React or a front-end JS framework.
• Strong experience with Python.
• Ability to develop and enforce testing policies and standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to translate direction from leadership into action.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
