In Short

• Write breaking news stories based on company announcements and third-party content
• Aggregate third-party content using smart news judgment
• Support a team of experienced journalists, financial analysts, and lawyers
• Adopt Octus’s editorial standards, workflows, and processes
• Write earnings and other intel using proprietary AI tools
• Provide crossover support between regions for 24/7 coverage
• Monitor domestic press releases and SEC filings for key developments

Requirements

• Excellent written English and communication skills
• Top-notch news writing and time management
• Strong news sense and judgment, with experience in financial news
• Curious and proactive approach to learning
• Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects
• Willingness to adapt as content objectives evolve
• Cover shift work during the week, including early mornings
• Experience with project management programs is a plus
