• Manage cloud-based databases, particularly Postgres and MySQL.

• Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies.
• Implement cloud-native security measures.
• Provide on-call support for production databases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of progressive DBA experience.
• 5+ years managing databases in AWS.
• Strong command of Linux commands and shell scripting.
• Deep understanding of RDBMS principles.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Knowledge of database security best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with configuration management tools is a plus.
