Overview

The Epic Security Application Architect supports the mission of OCHIN by playing a key role in the design of application features and functionality in the Epic software platform, improving the quality and impact of OCHIN's Epic platform.

In Short

• Design and enhance application features in the Epic software platform.
• Work closely with teams across OCHIN such as Install, Maintenance, QA, and Release.
• Analyze and document business needs and technical requirements.
• Provide technical mentorship and support to team members.
• Perform complex development and testing for Epic applications.
• Lead working sessions to identify problems and design solutions.
• Support OCHIN’s strategic business plan and risk management.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in continual improvement processes.
• Work independently in a remote environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years of Application Analyst experience required.
• Deep knowledge of Epic data structures and applications required.
• Current Epic Security certification required.
• Knowledge of Epic APIs and integrations highly desired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Strong time management and organization skills required.
• Commitment to outstanding customer service required.
• Experience with Epic Implementations highly desired.
