Actuary, Pricing - Remote

Overview

This is a 100% remote position for an experienced Actuary to join the Pricing team, focusing on data analysis and influencing business decisions.

• 100% remote position, priority for candidates in eastern and central time zones
• Less than 10% travel required
• Perform actuarial evaluations of new program opportunities
• Conduct profitability reviews and communicate results
• Develop reports to monitor KPIs for programs
• Create and maintain pricing analytic models
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with filing support and underwriting audits
• Support development of analysts
• Other duties as directed

Requirements

• BS/BA in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or advanced analytics
• ACAS preferred
• 8+ years P&C experience in insurance or reinsurance
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience in Microsoft SQL, Python, or R is a plus
• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau preferred
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions
• Excellent analytical skills with advanced data analytics experience a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
