In Short

• Seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to manage tax compliance and reporting functions.
• Assist in bringing the tax function in-house.
• Review and prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns.
• Conduct research on complex tax issues and develop strategies for reducing tax liabilities.
• Assist with internal and external tax audits.
• Mentor junior tax staff and collaborate with other departments.
• Full-time position with some overtime during tax season.
• Remote work available with travel for business meetings.
• Compensation ranges from $85,000 to $110,000 based on experience.
• Must be based in Eastern or Central time zones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting or industry.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience with tax software and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in tax filings.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
