Overview

The Coding Educator, HB Coding is responsible for creating and delivering education to improve the quality of documentation and coding within the healthcare system.

• Requires RHIT, RHIA, or CCS certification.
• Five years of coding experience required.
• Strong computer and communication skills necessary.

Requirements

• RHIT or RHIA or CCS certification.
• Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field.
• Five years of coding experience.
• Strong personal computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Planning and time management skills.
• Educational/training experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
