Overview

The Cyber Security Analyst III will support cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities for the cybersecurity program at the U.S. Department of Energy Hanford Site in Richland, Washington.

In Short

  • Responsible for specific projects or service areas within the cybersecurity GRC work scope.
  • Creates and presents metrics, reports, and presentations to update senior management.
  • Develops and maintains strategies, standards, plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs risk management activities including impact and risk assessments.
  • Supports assurance activities including security assessments.
  • Conducts training activities including phishing campaigns and training module development.
  • Supports vulnerability management activities and coordinates remediation efforts.
  • Assists with cybersecurity audits, assessments, and investigations.
  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree in cybersecurity or related field with 5+ years of experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance frameworks such as NIST and ISO.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities judiciously.
