In Short

• Identifying cybersecurity problems requiring mitigation.
• Analyzing network traffic for exploit or intrusion attempts.
• Recommending detection mechanisms for threats.
• Providing expertise on network attacks and intrusion methodologies.
• Escalating critical issues to the Threat Management team.
• Participating in investigations of alerts and anomalies.
• Communicating security posture and events to management.
• Engaging with internal and external parties for process improvement.
• Producing design documentation and leading investigations.
• Supervising team efforts and guiding investigations.

Requirements

• Must be eligible for a sensitive clearance.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with endpoint detection and network traffic analysis.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals and Boolean Logic.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding of IDS/IPS technologies and methodologies.
• Splunk experience is desired.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Certifications such as CISSP or Sec+ are desired.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
