Team Lead Finance (f/m/d) - Remote

Overview

NexWafe is seeking a Team Lead Finance (f/m/d) in Freiburg im Breisgau for a temporary position of approximately 18 months. In this role, you will contribute your financial expertise to help commercialize groundbreaking technology in the renewable energy sector.

In Short

• Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring excellence in all financial functions.
• Oversee invoicing, payroll, and compliance with financial policies.
• Manage liquidity and accounting across headquarters and subsidiaries in Germany and the USA.
• Support strategic decisions through quantitative analysis in collaboration with the CFO.
• Engage with stakeholders across the company, especially Supply Chain and Engineering teams.
• Maintain relationships with external stakeholders including banks and auditors.
• Train and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence.

Requirements

• Strong background in finance with several years of leadership experience.
• Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in managing financial operations and strategy.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and resilience under high workload.
• Experience in IT (ERP), ESG, and Legal is a plus.
