DevSecOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

NexGen Data Systems is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support a government customer. The ideal candidate will be experienced in developing customer requirements in an IaC pipeline, including GitLab using Terraform Coding, Jenkins for implementation, Juniper configuration, F5 configuration, and a strong background in AWS FedRamp Approved Services.

In Short

• Configure and manage secured cloud computing architecture.
• Responsible for IT management, monitoring tools and best practices.
• Networking and Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA).
• Set up and configure Juniper and/or Transit Gateway.
• Build AWS infrastructure using GitLab Repos with Terraform Coding.
• Responsible for meeting Program Increment deadlines.
• Linux and Microsoft Server Administration.
• Execute efforts in a collaborative and Scaled Agile fashion.
• Work with Agile teams to oversee code releases and deployments.
• Support standard Agile ritual meetings.

Requirements

• Top Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliance required.
• 5-10+ years of experience in a professional IT environment.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools.
• Experience with AWS Redshift, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, ECS.
• Solid knowledge of cloud Security skills.
• Advanced Problem-Solving Skills.
• Self-driven problem solver and Customer service skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
