Overview

The Assistant Call Center Manager serves as the right hand to the Call Center Manager, acting as the second-in-command for the daily management and execution of call center and referral operations.

In Short

  • Support to the Call Center Manager in daily operations and decision-making.
  • Act as point of contact in the Call Center Manager’s absence.
  • Assist with implementing strategic goals and performance initiatives.
  • Monitor team attendance, schedule adherence, and shift coverage.
  • Conduct coaching sessions and support conflict resolution.
  • Manage daily assignments across various communication channels.
  • Assist in onboarding and continuous training efforts.
  • Collaborate on reporting, analytics, and performance updates.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Excel is required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in a call center environment.
  • 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • High emotional intelligence and discretion.
