Overview

The Ratings Policy Strategist will work within the Policy division of Netflix's Ratings and Partnerships team, focusing on providing maturity ratings and advisory guidance for content.

• Provide maturity ratings and advisory guidance to Content teams.
• Audit titles for accurate maturity ratings and content advisories.
• Consult with Content Analysts on rating factors.
• Communicate ratings information to various stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain ratings guidelines.
• Advise on appropriateness of trailers and imagery.
• 5+ years in relevant fields required.
• Experience in cross-functional global roles.
• Strong judgment and communication skills needed.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and reporting tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years in global Standards & Practices, Trust & Safety, or similar.
• 4+ years in cross-functional roles.
• Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of global ratings standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with algorithm-assisted workflows.
• Previous experience with animation and anime encouraged.
• Strong judgment in content-related issues.
• Ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
• Familiarity with database/reporting tools like AirTable.
