In Short

  • Lead strategic high-complexity projects ensuring technical alignment between different engineering areas.
  • Design, manage, and evolve the company's infrastructure ensuring high availability, reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
  • Define automation standards, deployment pipelines, tools, and best practices to optimize delivery flows and reduce operational risks.
  • Structure and enhance platform observability, ensuring visibility, effective alerts, and proactive problem detection.
  • Supervise and lead responses to critical incidents, striving for continuous reduction of MTTR and prevention of recurrences.
  • Plan capacity and scalability to support business growth and product evolution, anticipating bottlenecks and proposing robust solutions.
  • Provide tools, frameworks, and support to development teams, improving developer experience and increasing autonomy in software delivery.
  • Act as a technical partner to engineering leadership, influencing prioritization decisions, technological investments, and platform roadmap.
  • Mentor engineers of various levels, promoting knowledge dissemination, best practices, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in SRE, Production Engineering, or related fields, working with distributed and large-scale systems.
  • Strong background in cloud infrastructure architecture (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid environments.
  • Proficiency in automation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) and DevOps practices.
  • Advanced knowledge in observability (monitoring, logging, tracing, alerts) and incident management.
  • Experience in defining and implementing reliability, scalability, resilience, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Experience in programming and scripting languages (Python, Go, Shell, etc.) applied to operations automation.
  • Previous experience influencing technical decisions across multiple teams, with negotiation and communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.
