Overview

The Application Security Engineer Specialist at Neon is responsible for evolving security policies and tools in the development pipeline, ensuring secure coding practices, and leading the Application Security team.

In Short

• Responsible for evolving security policies and secure coding tools.
• Maintain security tools in the development pipeline.
• Act as a security focal point for RASP matters.
• Assist with AppSec initiatives and vendor assessments.
• Responsible for threat modeling for applications.
• Ensure constant evolution of SSDLC security fronts.
• Technical leadership of the Application Security team.
• Create technical reports and executive risk reports.

Requirements

• At least one programming language.
• Secure Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
• Experience with SAST, RASP, SCA, MAST, and DAST tools.
• Familiarity with OWASP SAMM, ASVS, and OWASP TOP10.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD.
• English proficiency.
