Accounts Payable Associate - Remote

Overview

The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for maintaining the entry, approval, and payment for an assigned group of vendors/suppliers, ensuring timely payments and effective communication.

In Short

• Process invoices using 3-way match and/or proper approval.
• Accurately reconcile vendor statements.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Research and resolve aged accounts payable and variances.
• Communicate professionally with business partners.
• Participate in month-end close activities.
• Perform ad hoc duties as necessary.
• Provide team coverage in other areas as needed.
• Adhere to internal controls and confidentiality guidelines.

Requirements

• Prior work experience in Accounts Payable or accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
