In Short

• Work across the core product, integrations, and platform architecture to enhance backend performance.
• Stabilize and improve critical system components, including modernizing legacy code.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to develop pragmatic solutions.
• Write backend code in Node.js (Nest) and work with PostgreSQL and PL/pgSQL.
• Reduce complexity and improve system maintainability.
• Contribute to architecture and design decisions for cleaner patterns.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend experience in dynamic environments.
• Hands-on experience with NestJS or similar frameworks.
• Comfort with PostgreSQL and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP).
• Experience with legacy codebases and refactoring.
• Exposure to event-driven patterns or asynchronous systems.
• Understanding of monolith-to-microservices challenges.
• Focus on code quality, testing, and maintainability.
• Clear communication and collaborative spirit.
