Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

This is a permanent full time remote opportunity for those based in Italy as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Nearform.

In Short

• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure for scalable applications.
• Manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Create deployment architectures and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Implement monitoring frameworks and automation using IaC tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve DevOps processes.
• Ensure security best practices in CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Optimize system performance through observability and monitoring.
• Engage in technical discussions with stakeholders.
• Assist with client requirements analysis.
• Work with Technical Leaders for project execution.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience at a Senior Engineer level.
• Experience in agile environments.
• Strong cloud infrastructure management skills.
• Proficiency in IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Scripting expertise, preferably in Python.
• Familiarity with monitoring frameworks and observability tools.
• Understanding of security best practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
