Staff Cyber Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Staff Cyber Security Engineer to be part of our NBCU Security Architecture team. This Staff Cyber Security Engineer will partner with the various NBCUniversal businesses, enterprise IT, and Cyber Security organization to ensure technology is designed and deployed securely and aligned with Cyber Security and enterprise technology strategies.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Cyber solutions architecture and delivery.
• Experience in threat mitigation best practices across technical areas.
• Ability to explain common threats in various environments.
• Knowledge of Cyber Security best practices, including OWASP Top 10.
• Advanced technical knowledge in Cyber security areas.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in developing security guidelines.
• Familiarity with security controls and data privacy regulations.
• Empathy for engineering teams balancing security and operational needs.
