Overview

The Director of Site Reliability Engineering at NBCUniversal will lead the architectural design, implementation, and maintenance of production application environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10 years of experience as a Software Architect or similar role.
• Hands-on systems engineering experience on Linux/Unix platforms.
• Experience with DevOps principles and operational tools.
• Familiarity with NoSQL data stores and large-scale applications.
• Experience using AWS in a production environment.
• Proficiency in Agile tools like Jira and GitHub.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Ansible.
