Release Management Specialist - Remote

Overview

Navaide is seeking a Release Management Specialist to coordinate and manage the planning, scheduling, and execution of SAP system releases on a Department of Defense contract.

In Short

• Coordinate release activities across development, Basis, QA, and functional teams.
• Develop and maintain release schedules and deployment runbooks.
• Manage the transport request process.
• Chair release readiness reviews and go/no-go meetings.
• Maintain the release calendar and communicate release windows.
• Track and report on release metrics.
• Support change control board activities.
• Eligibility for and willingness to obtain security clearance.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP release management experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Transport Management System.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Experience with SAP system landscape design.
• Experience coordinating releases across multiple workstreams.
• Navy ERP or DoD ERP release management experience preferred.
• ITIL Release and Deployment Management certification preferred.
