Software Engineer (C#) - Remote

Overview

Nava is a consultancy and public benefit corporation working to make government services simple and effective. The Software Engineer works with fellow Nava engineers to design, review, and build well-crafted software, collaborating with government partners to deliver impactful technology solutions.

In Short

• Writing and implementing code
• Performing local testing to ensure acceptance criteria have been met
• Writing technical specifications for new functionality
• Reviewing pull requests and providing feedback
• Collaborating with internal and external engineers
• Participating in agile ceremonies like standups and retrospectives

Requirements

• Experience in C#/.NET Core, OpenAPI/Swagger
• Experience with web-based systems, both front-end and back-end
• Experience on large-scale applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of engineering fundamentals and architecture
• Experience with modern web development frameworks
• Ability to work collaboratively and adaptively
• Experience with automated testing
• Self-directed with minimal supervision
• Previous experience as a software engineer
