Telehealth Genetic Counselor Supervisor - Remote

Overview

The Telehealth Genetic Counselor (GC) Supervisor oversees a team of GCs and/or other clinical staff. Candidates with Assisted Reproductive Technology experience are encouraged to apply.

In Short

• Guide and advise telehealth GCs on complex patients/cases.
• Work with laboratory/medical directors and other departments to resolve patient/case/clinic issues.
• Oversee appointment schedules and other day-to-day operations.
• Run team meetings.
• Train new hires and perform ongoing training for team members.
• Manage direct reports including annual reviews and job feedback.
• Deliver presentations at scientific meetings and represent the company at trade shows.
• Work with PHI on a regular basis and maintain access to required technologies.
• Complete training related to HIPAA/PHI privacy and compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling or equivalent.
• Board certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling or Medical Genetics.
• Ability to obtain multi-state genetic counseling licensure.
• Eight or more years of clinical and/or laboratory GC experience.
