Senior Bioinformatics Scientist - Remote

Overview

Natera is seeking a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist to join our Bioinformatics Research Team with a focus on cancer recurrence monitoring. The ideal candidate should have experience in sequencing algorithm development, genomics, sequencing data processing, and/or applied machine learning.

Requirements

• PhD degree in bioinformatics or related field.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in genomic sequencing analysis.
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python.
• Track record of developing computational methods.
• Experience in data analysis and machine learning.
• Strong domain expertise in genomics.
• Deep understanding of sequencing data.
• Experience with Linux and shell scripting.
• Ability to communicate results effectively.
• Background in machine learning and statistics preferred.
