SAP Basis Consultant - Remote

Overview

The SAP Basis Consultant will ensure system operations, maintenance, and updates for customer systems, while also leading common basis projects and providing support.

In Short

• Ensure system operation and error analysis.
• Lead basis projects including release changes for ABAP and Java.
• System administration and configuration.
• Responsible for SAP HANA technology planning and migration.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for troubleshooting and performance services.
• Support presales activities for new customers.
• Incident and problem management.
• Willingness to work nights or weekends occasionally.
• Experience with SAP systems and upgrades.
• Fluent in German and English.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Informatics/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience in setting up and operating SAP systems.
• Knowledge of at least 2 common SAP databases like HANA, Oracle, DB2.
• Service delivery management experience.
• Project management and consulting experience.
