Cloud Architect - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to maintain and evolve one of the largest city councils cloud hosting platforms which hosts ~1000 PHP deployments.

In Short

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architecture solutions.
• Lead the migration of existing applications to the cloud.
• Define cloud standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to establish CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud engineers.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud tools and architectures.
• Ensure compliance, governance, and security in cloud environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and costs.

Requirements

• Bilingual (Catalan & Spanish).
• Advanced level of English.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Expertise in Cloud Architecture.
• Proficiency in Git.
• Experience with Linux Platform.
• Knowledge of Python.
