Data Analyst (SQL) - Remote

Overview

The Mortgage Business Intelligence & Analytics team oversees all activities and functions involved with the company’s Business Intelligence platform, giving mortgage company business leaders access to reliable, actionable data to better manage and understand the business and drive company growth.

In Short

• Support compliance, finance, and other streamlining initiatives.
• Extract, validate, and monitor loan-level data for audits and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of data for critical regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with compliance and risk teams on reporting requirements.
• Perform ongoing validation of data integrity.
• Lead automation of financial transaction entries using SQL.
• Assist in report development and maintenance.
• Provide support for team initiatives and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• 2-5 years’ experience in a data-focused role.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with regulatory reporting in mortgage or financial services.
• Familiarity with MCR or other regulatory frameworks is a plus.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and validations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
