HVAC Field Service Technician - Remote

Overview

The HVAC Field Service Technician at Munters Corporation is responsible for traveling to customer sites to start up, commission, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment, ensuring efficient operation and customer satisfaction.

In Short

• Travel extensively to customer sites, up to 80% of the time.
• Perform factory start-up, commissioning, and service on HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and refrigeration issues.
• Provide customer training on equipment usage.
• Maintain and protect company equipment and property.
• Work independently and manage onsite projects.
• Document service activities through detailed reports.
• Follow all safety procedures and requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the HVAC field.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration systems.
• Proficiency in brazing and soldering.
• Universal refrigeration card holder.
• Experience with controls systems and PLCs.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Trade School preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks for site access.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
