Overview

The Mozilla Strategic Communications team is responsible for leading the Foundation’s conversation with the wider world. We ensure Mozilla is always speaking with a consistent, compelling voice that meets the moment. We serve as a trusted internal periscope into the audiences, channels, trends, and products relevant to Mozilla’s programs, mission and values – and generate appealing, inclusive, evergreen dialogues that build a global community of support for and engagement with the foundation. The team delivers strategic work — like crafting messaging and yearly plans — and tactical work, like press pitching, social media posts, and content marketing.

• Create and execute strategic, goal-based communications and marketing plans.
• Lead project management for StratComms Studio outputs.
• Collaborate on strategic planning and organizational messaging.
• Develop issue-specific communications strategies.
• Measure and analyze the efficiency of communications initiatives.
• Craft compelling storytelling across multiple platforms.
• Ensure integration of style guide and core messages.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of corporate communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Expertise in digital marketing and audience engagement.
• Experience in brand development and identity management.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
