Overview

MoveOn is seeking a Data Architect to manage and improve our data infrastructure, ensuring effective data management and integration across various tools and platforms.

In Short

• Conduct list management for voter contact and member engagement.
• Design and manage MoveOn’s data infrastructure.
• Partner with software engineers for data ingestion and transformation.
• Write ad-hoc queries for data reporting and analysis.
• Standardize data collection and management frameworks.
• Utilize SQL for querying and optimizing data.
• Experience with data warehousing best practices.
• Work with non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Adopt a digital security mindset to protect member data.
• Flexible in learning new technologies and tools.

Requirements

• High proficiency in SQL querying.
• 3+ years of experience with large relational data systems.
• Experience with dbt or similar ETL tools.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and schema best practices.
• Experience integrating data from various sources.
• Familiarity with git for version control.
• Experience with campaigning and organizing software (preferred).
