The Movement Innovation Collaborative (MIC) is a newly established organization dedicated to enhancing the capacity, impact, and sustainability of grassroots movements for racial justice and social transformation in California. MIC aims to support changemakers and organizations by fostering innovations in movement strategy, power building, and intergenerational leadership development. Through a network of physical and virtual centers, MIC provides essential infrastructure to drive transformative structural change across the state, serving hundreds of organizations and tens of thousands of grassroots leaders. The organization is committed to raising the necessary resources to support its mission and programs, focusing on movement strategy, leadership development, and cultural sustainability.
