Mill-Turn Manufacturing Engineering Technician - 3rd Shift - Remote

Overview

The Mill-Turn Manufacturing Engineering Technician will work collaboratively with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure on-time, quality production while developing and maturing production programs in the fabrication shop.

In Short

• Onsite 3rd Shift position in Buffalo, NY.
• Fabricate complex machined parts and sub-assemblies.
• Review engineering drawings for manufacturability.
• Optimize manufacturing processes and facilities.
• Define standard setup and run times for operations.
• Lead studies for process enhancements and equipment recommendations.
• Address non-conformances with effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot shop floor issues to maintain production standards.
• Develop and refine N/C programs using advanced computer systems.
• Support production output when necessary.

Requirements

• Associate degree in mechanical/industrial engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of related metalworking experience or 5+ years without degree.
• Expertise in CNC machining processes, especially mill-turn machines.
• Ability to perform production level inspections using SPC.
• Proficient in Blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective team player with cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
