Registered Dietetic Technician - Bilingual (Spanish) - PRN - Remote

Overview

The Diet Technician will provide telephonic nutrition assessments to members beginning a Medically Tailored Meals program, assessing their unique health conditions and recommending appropriate meal types.

In Short

• Provide telephonic nutrition assessments under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian.
• Collect and review food and nutrient intake information.
• Provide nutrition interventions/plans of care as directed.
• Identify community resources for members as needed.
• Maintain professional knowledge through educational opportunities.
• Work hours are flexible within 9:00am-6:00pm Pacific Time.
• Primary member population is in California.
• Minimum of 20-24 hours across 3+ days/week.
• Requires verbal fluency in Spanish.
• Experience in telephonic nutritional screenings preferred.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in nutrition/dietetics from an accredited institution.
• Certification as a Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (NDTR).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in medical and nutrition terminology in Spanish.
