Overview

The EMR Applications Trainer provides training for the Care Connections Nurse Practitioner’s team, focusing on workflow design, testing, training, and support of clinical staff.

In Short

• Provide training for the EMR application.
• Conduct workflow analysis and ongoing support.
• Troubleshoot and document EMR system issues.
• Escalate application malfunctions to IT and Help Desk.
• Create training materials for clinical staff.
• Preferred education includes an Associate Degree and LPN/LVN Certification.
• Requires advanced computer skills and clinical training experience.
• Experience with EMR implementation and management of chronic conditions preferred.
• Bilingual candidates are a plus.

Requirements

• Advanced computer skills, proficient in Word and Excel.
• Clinical training experience required.
• 3-5 years of experience as LPN/LVN preferred.
• Experience with underserved populations is a plus.
• EMR Vendor Certification preferred.
