Design Manager (Owner’s Representative / Architect) - Remote

Overview

The Design Manager will support the envisioning and design management of large, complex construction projects and through all phases of work including project definition, procurement, design, pre-construction, bid/award, and construction. They will work with project leadership to envision, plan, evaluate, and maintain oversight over the planning, programming and design work to successfully deliver a project that meets the client’s goals and objectives.

• Provide Design Management including managing the design process.

Requirements

• NCARB accredited bachelor’s degree in architecture and a minimum of five years as a practicing architect.
• Registered Architect in the State of California desired.
• Other industry accreditations or certifications desired.
• Experience in all phases of work required.
• Organizational and project management skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Client focused and detail oriented.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products and design software.
• Proposal development skills.
