Manager, Sales/Use Tax and Business Compliance - Remote

Overview

The Manager, SUT/Business Registration will lead the company’s sales tax and business registration compliance processes, which includes annual report filing and business licensing. This role will manage sales tax and business license audits, ensure the proper application of tax codes throughout systems, and own the sales tax returns and Avalara vendor relationship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in sales and use tax compliance.
• Experience with Avalara or similar tax software.
• Previous managerial experience.
• Proven experience in handling sales tax filings.
• Experience managing indirect taxes across multiple jurisdictions.
• CPA or relevant tax certification is a plus.
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
• Avalara, Salesforce Billing, and Netsuite experience preferred.
