Senior Software Engineer (Golang / Kubernetes) - Remote

Overview

Mirantis is adding a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our development team! We build enterprise software that addresses operational and security challenges of managing cloud native platforms such as Kubernetes, while providing enterprise customers with integrated tools for running containerized workloads with Docker.

In Short

• Design and develop features in Go for Mirantis Kubernetes Engine.
• Collaborate with customers and product management to enhance existing products.
• Work closely with teammates in design, code, and test-plan reviews.
• Become an expert in cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Implement and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Participate in agile methodologies and best practices.
• Build tools and software that improve the development and management of applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Go programming language.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• 2 years of experience with Linux.
• Experience with public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• A passion for learning and adopting new technologies.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex distributed systems.
