Paralegal - Legal Team - Remote

Overview

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to be at the center of the action of Mindbody's dynamic Legal Team. You will be a driving force behind the success of the Legal Team, ready to roll up your sleeves and work collaboratively across the Company to juggle deadlines, manage simultaneous projects on a variety of legal matters and jump in wherever needed to help your team.

In Short

• Serve as primary subject matter expert for all things product related for our legal team.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
• Create and maintain legal team records related to compliance functionality.
• Provide legal support to various departments including product and marketing.
• Assist attorneys in process improvements and legal research.
• Draft and negotiate privacy provisions and contracts.
• Manage privacy-related notices and terms.
• Research compliance topics including privacy laws and marketing regulations.
• Draft communications for internal and external audiences.
• Support the legal team on objectives and OKRs.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or practical experience required (Paralegal certificate preferred).
• At least five years paralegal experience in a large law firm or in-house legal department.
• Self-motivated with superior organizational skills.
• A team player with problem-solving techniques.
• Excellent communication skills tailored to the audience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and professionalism.
• Excellent computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with global privacy and marketing laws is a plus.
• Excellent record-keeping skills for documentation.
