Overview

We are looking for an experienced Shopware developer and DevOps expert for a unique project to migrate an existing Shopware shop. The project involves the complete transfer of the currently running Shopware shop to a new infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Kubernetes (GKE). The goal is a smooth transition with minimal downtime and optimal configuration on the new platform. Start date: immediately.

Analyze the existing Shopware installation.
Create a detailed migration plan including timeline and rollback strategy.
Set up the GCP/Kubernetes environment.
Conduct the migration of Shopware files and database.
Document the new infrastructure and configuration.
Provide support for initial issues post-launch.
Train internal team if desired.

Requirements

Proven experience in migrating Shopware projects.
Solid knowledge in Shopware development, ideally Shopware 6.
Extensive experience in DevOps, especially with Kubernetes and GCP.
Experience in setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters.
Proficient with GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, etc.).
Experience with containerization (Docker).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Good communication skills in German and/or English (C1 minimum).
