• Full-time position focused on building and securing cloud infrastructure.
• Design and implement standardized runtime environments on GKE.
• Configure and manage service mesh (Istio) for traffic management.
• Develop automation for deploying applications using GitOps principles.
• Optimize runtime environments for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure security of runtime environments with appropriate policies.
• Contribute to GitOps pipelines for application management.
• Integrate GitLab CI/CD with GitOps tools for automated deployments.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance GitLab usage.
• Requires active U.S. Security Clearance at the Secret level or above.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of GKE and its advanced features.
• Expertise in service mesh configuration.
• Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in automation tools and scripting.
• Knowledge of GitLab CI/CD and GitOps workflows.
• Working knowledge of container runtimes and microservice architecture.
• Familiarity with zero-trust concepts in GCP.
• Desired certifications include Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with Department of Defense or Government agencies is a plus.
