Manager, Strategic Finance - Remote

Overview

As our Manager, Strategic Finance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of women's midlife health by leading financial planning, revenue and COGS modeling, and KPI tracking efforts. Reporting directly to our CFO, this position offers the opportunity to create real impact through innovative solutions and strategic insight.

In Short

• Lead FP&A revenue and cost of goods sold planning, financial model and dashboard building, special projects, and financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making across the organization.
• Work closely with others on the Finance team, Business Operations, and departmental leaders to enhance revenue and COGS reporting, KPI tracking, and deliver efficiencies, which includes creating KPI dashboards and identifying trends.
• Support the implementation of new initiatives to improve care Margins and present the implications to the CFO and senior management.
• Manage the company financial model and revenue/COGS forecasting process, providing clear communications to leaders across the company on budget tracking and variances.
• Assist in the creation of reporting for Board presentations and executive management that communicates financial results/KPI trends.
• Work directly with the CFO to help optimize decision-making across the business through strategic and financial analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in a related field degree required or equivalent experience; MBA a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or corporate finance.
• Expert-level modeling skills, both in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides; a strong story-teller who will not just report the facts, but provide a deep understanding of current trends, and how we can improve going forward.
• A proven ability to lead projects and effectively communicate complex concepts in a simple manner.
• Self-starter who can deliver in a dynamic environment under tight timelines and changing priorities; must be “hands-on" and passionate about joining a mission-driven start up.
• Excellent team player who can also work well independently and with limited direction; highly driven and self-motivated.
• High level of business acumen, the ability to analyze and assess opportunities and issues within the business.
• Must be located in western timezone.
