This job is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor with a growing team at Middle Seat and take the lead in running client social media & texting programs. We’re looking for self-starters who love to write, raise money online, design graphics, and follow the news of the day.

In Short

• Lead client social media accounts and/or texting programs
• Craft and implement social media management and growth strategies
• Utilize social media to fundraise and build lists for clients
• Create graphics and short-form videos for social media posts
• Oversee social media posting schedules and texting calendars
• Research issues relevant to clients for social media content
• Manage and interface with clients directly
• Draft copy for fundraising and mobilization through texting
• Manage texting production and develop other assets
• Analyze social media and texting performance metrics

Requirements

• Experience in social media management and digital strategy
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to create engaging graphics and videos
• Knowledge of political fundraising and progressive politics
• Experience in client management and direct communication
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and report findings
• Experience in managing teams or interns
• Self-starter with a passion for progressive causes
