Overview

The metal manufacturing company van de Weyer has stood for handcrafted products such as steel doors and glass walls in modern loft style for decades – minimalist, high-quality, and precise. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Technical Draftsman (m/f/d) part-time 20 hours/week (with the option for later hour increases) who will support our construction know-how digitally and manage communication with our production and suppliers.

In Short

Creation of technical drawings and 3D models for custom metal constructions in Autodesk Inventor
Development of construction details in close coordination with workshop and assembly
Independent communication with our production and suppliers
Technical documentation and maintenance of our drawings
Project coordination with the team – digitally and occasionally on-site

Requirements

Completed training as a Technical Draftsman, Technical Product Designer, or a comparable qualification
Very good knowledge of Autodesk Inventor
Experience in metal construction or steel construction
Confident communication in German (C1/C2) and English (at least B1)
Independent, reliable working style and good technical understanding
Willingness for occasional visits to our workshop in Brüggen – even if you work 100% remotely
