Shopify Capability Lead - Remote

Overview

Merkle is seeking a dynamic Shopify Capability Lead to drive market expansion and practice build-out within our Shopify Commerce practice, focusing on both B2C and B2B aspects.

• Lead the go-to-market strategy for Shopify services.
• Build partnerships within the Shopify ecosystem.
• Manage commercial aspects of the Shopify team.
• Oversee high-profile Shopify engagements as an Executive Sponsor.
• Develop a Shopify learning agenda for community enrichment.
• Create toolkits and frameworks to enhance delivery consistency.
• Contribute to a Shopify thought leadership plan.
• Enhance quality of Technology work across Shopify.
• Work on staffing and utilization management with finance teams.
• Remote role with managerial responsibilities and travel.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technology consulting or similar fields.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in Shopify (B2C and B2B).
• Experience with CRM and modern marketing technologies.
• Familiarity with headless and composable patterns.
• Strong public presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science.
