Overview

Mercor is seeking native Japanese speakers who are also marketing professionals based in Japan. This role combines your marketing expertise across a wide variety of different subjects with language mastery, helping train cutting-edge AI models in the marketing domain.

In Short

• Translate, adapt, and synthesize marketing content in Japanese.
• Write fluently in both Japanese and English.
• Provide cultural insights specific to Japanese marketing.
• Collaborate with reviewers to refine content and validate accuracy.
• Work remotely and asynchronously on your own schedule.
• Contribute at least 20 hours per week.
• Commit to around 2 months of work.
• Participate in a structured project environment.
• Complete an AI-led interview for assessment.
• Undergo a paid work trial for suitability evaluation.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Japanese and strong English skills.
• Degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
• 2–6+ years of marketing experience in Japan.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with assessment development is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI models is a bonus.
