Chemistry PhD/Master's Student Contractor for AI Project - Remote

Overview

Mercor is seeking Chemistry PhD / Master’s students for a premier project with one of the world's top AI labs. In this role, you will contribute your subject matter expertise to a cutting-edge project involving state-of-the-art large language models. Specifically, you will help create high-quality data that will inform the future of AI innovation by curating difficult problems in your domain.

In Short

• Currently pursuing/holding a Chemistry-related PhD / Master’s from a leading US or Canadian university.
• OR Have worked full-time in a Chemistry-related domain in US or Canada for >1 year.
• High attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent proficiency in English.
• Contribute 15-20 hours of work per week, with potential to extend up to 40+ hours.
• The work is fully remote and asynchronous.
• The project is scoped to last a minimum of 1-2 months.
• Legally classified as an hourly contractor for Mercor.
• Paid out at the end of each week via Stripe Connect.

Requirements

• Complete an AI interview and written form, taking a combined 20-30 minutes.
