Engineering Coach (Director/VP+) - Remote

Overview

This role seeks senior leaders in software engineering who are passionate about coaching and developing individuals in their careers.

In Short

• Provide 1:1 coaching to Mento members through virtual sessions.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance coaching skills.
• Communicate with members via Mento email or chat.
• Share insights within the Mento coaching community.
• Act as an ambassador of the Mento community.
• Must have 15+ years of experience in software engineering leadership.
• Desire to turn leadership skills into coaching skills.
• Comfortable in a startup environment.
• Available for a minimum of 12+ hours per month for 24+ months.
• This is a fully remote position.

Requirements

• A director, VP, or senior software engineering leader with extensive experience.
• Passionate about helping others advance in their careers.
• Self-aware and emotionally intelligent.
• Growth mindset towards coaching skills.
• Experience at technology companies is a plus.
